Annual Reports
Each year the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls publishes a report that is then presented to the City and County Commissions to inform them of the issues facing women and girls in the community. The initial reports Report on the Status of Women and Girls in Leon County-2012 and Improving the Status of Women & Girls in Tallahassee/Leon County 2013-2014 paved the way for the CSWG by providing research and information on how to address these issues.
Informed by the key findings of these hallmark reports, the current and immediate future work of the Commission is focused on action items to improve the status of women and girls in Tallahassee and Leon County. The Commission hopes to serve as a catalyst for positive community change.
